Board Portfolio Sought: Leadership Events / Director at Large
Alok currently leads product at Blue Fysh, delivering centralized contact centre and B2B field management CRM solutions for field and equipment operations.
He also serves as Director of Intelisa, a cloud-based Vertical SaaS platform he founded and scaled from 0 to 500+ enterprise customers across 10 countries.
"...bringing senior practitioners together around meaningful content is one of the highest-leverage things a community like TPMA can do.
I'm a natural networker and community builder, and I'd bring that to bear in connecting senior product leaders, educational institutions, corporates, and emerging PMs. My focus would be on curating spaces, physical and digital, where ideas and real-world innovations are exchanged, and where the broader TPMA membership gets access to thinking that is current, practical, and genuinely valuable."

Board Portfolio Sought: Marketing / Director at Large
Joanna has led product strategy and execution across startups and global enterprises, including Rogers, Vyond, Stan, and Next Generation Manufacturing Canada.
Most recently, she led the development of an AI-native workforce intelligence platform adopted by 230 companies in its first three months and secured $1.5M in funding.
Joanna has served on the Board of Rendezvous Child Care Centre since 2021 and is an active TPMA member as both a mentor and mentee.
"I bring two things this board specifically needs.
First, marketing...I have 8 years of marketing experience before transitioning into product management...I bring the perspective of both a practicing marketer and a product manager. That combination means I can build the storytelling and community strategy TPMA needs, and roll up my sleeves to make it happen.
Second, AI expertise. My day job is helping medium-sized businesses adopt AI to drive operational efficiency. I want to bring that directly into TPMA's programming...
TPMA runs on volunteers. The gap between good intentions and real impact is execution and ownership. I have both."

Board Portfolio Sought: Education - Bursary & Workshops
Rhythem has served on the TPMA Board for more than six years and currently leads the Education portfolio. During his time on the board, he hashelped launch and grow the Alan Armstrong Bursary program, formalized workshop programming into a repeatable offering, and delivered more than ten workshops covering core product management topics.
He is currently a Senior Product Manager with Advantage Group International.
"I want to increase the number of hands-on learning opportunities available to members, particularly around emerging topics such as AI and its practical application in product management. I want to create a platform where community members can learn as well as come forward to share their experiences and ideas.
I would also like to continue growing the Alan Armstrong Bursary program so more members can access professional development opportunities regardless of financial circumstances."

Board Portfolio Sought: Conference Chair (Toronto Product Con)
Andrew has been a TPMA board member for 3 years, serving 2 as Events Chair, and 1 as CEO. In that time, he led the largest expansion of programming in TPMA's history - including more than 30 events, two mentorship cohorts, and the sold out Toronto Product Con - oversaw the integration of ProductTO into the TPMA suite of events, and drove the largest single-year growth in revenue in TPMA history, exceeding the prior three years combined.
Andrew is a former Director of Product in the ad-tech and agency world, currently the Co-founder of Enough, a mental health tech startup building products that help people develop a healthier relationship with technology.
"I believe the TPMA can become the most impactful product community in Canada, and the growth we have seen...is a fraction of the potential. I want to keep building on that.
...I want to develop Toronto Product Con into one of the best product conferences in the world, deepen our events and mentorship programs so more people can connect and advance their careers, and experiment with regional meet-ups that bring the community closer together."

Board Portfolio Sought: Treasurer
Joyce has served as TPMA’s Treasurer for the past two years, helping guide the organization through the strongest period of financial growth in its history.
From strengthening accounting practices and financial safeguards to improving reporting and planning, Joyce has worked to ensure TPMA remains financially sustainable while continuing to invest in programs that create meaningful value for the community.
By day, Joyce is a Product Manager at Vena Solutions, previously having worked on accounting software for the construction industry, and becoming a certified financial and analytics user of NetSuite.
Outside of her product work, she supports small businesses as a part-time bookkeeper and tax preparer.
I want to continue serving because I believe strong organizations need strong foundations. As TPMA continues to grow its programs, membership, and reach, it is important that we maintain the financial discipline, governance, and operational safeguards that allow us to scale responsibly.
I am motivated by the opportunity to help ensure TPMA remains financially sustainable while investing in initiatives that create real value for our members.
Board Portfolio Sought: Marketing / Community / Director at Large
Suchitra is a Software-engineer turned Marketer turned Product Manager.
Over the past 10 years, she has worked across hardware, software, data, and platform products in organizations of all sizes across industries including FinTech, Heavy Equipment, and Natural Gas - across John Deere, Capital One, Jana, and Scotiabank.
During a journey that has included career pivots, moving countries, and rediscovering meaningful work, she has found mentorship and community anchoring her growth, inspiring her passion for helping others.
She has led women's ERGs, mentored aspiring PMs and tech innovators, and speaken at university panels to inspire the next generation of product leaders.
"One area I’d be excited to contribute to is expanding TPMA’s reach and visibility through stronger community storytelling and social engagement. In my previous experience as Communications Lead for a Women’s ERG, I worked on initiatives centered around advocacy, storytelling, and increasing participation. I’d love to bring that experience into TPMA...
Similarly, there is strong potential for partnerships with startup communities that are constantly looking for curious and driven talent to help build prototypes, experiment quickly, and bring ideas to market faster. Creating those bridges could provide valuable hands-on experience for students and aspiring PMs while supporting the broader startup ecosystem.
Additionally, I’d love to explore more niche communities within TPMA such as Neurodiversity in Product Management or Startup Product Management to create smaller spaces where members can connect more deeply through shared experiences and challenges."

TPMA has a strong foundation, and I want to help us scale in a way that feels intentional, connected, and aligned with what product professionals need today."

Board Portfolio Sought: Director at Large
Prasanna Jeyakumar brings over 20 years of experience across the product lifecycle as a senior Independent Product Consultant. He drives complex product strategies, navigates market sizing, and bridges technical precision with corporate goals to secure long-term client trust through the "tough ride" of execution.
Ffrequently Prasanna is aligning diverse interests across large stakeholder meetings and SMB forums, applying a disciplined "product mindset" to his volunteer service—treating community growth, digital frameworks, and operational excellence with the same rigor as a mission-critical product launch.
