Founded in March 2001, the Toronto Product Management Association (TPMA) is a not-for-profit organization that facilitates learning, mentoring, and networking opportunities for product managers across Greater Toronto Area.

The role
As Volunteer Engagement Coordinator, you’ll work closely with the Volunteer Engagement Manager to help strengthen our volunteer community. You’ll support the execution of events, communications, recognition programs, and community-building efforts that make our volunteer experience engaging, rewarding, and connected.

On average 5 hours a month (some variability depending on active recruitment needs)
What you’ll do:
- Support the Volunteer Engagement Manager: Assist with executing engagement initiatives, including volunteer campaigns, recognition efforts, sub community activities, and themed events.
- Coordinate volunteer campaigns: Support the planning and execution of volunteer campaigns, including content development, scheduling, asset creation, and cross-channel promotion.
- Create engagement collateral: Design creative assets in Canva, such as announcement banners, event graphics, and social media content to support key initiatives.
- Coordinate monthly volunteer spotlights: Help organize and publish monthly recognition spotlights to highlight and celebrate volunteer contributions.
- Assist with event coordination: Provide logistics and communications support for all volunteer events, including virtual socials, in-person meetups, and the year-end celebration.
- Help manage feedback loops: Execute engagement surveys and assist with collecting and organizing feedback to support program improvements.
- Support recognition and rewards programs: Contribute to the execution of recognition initiatives that celebrate milestones and boost volunteer morale.
- Source quotes and vendors: Gather pricing and vendor options for event venues, printed materials, and other collateral
- Contribute to building a strong volunteer community: Encourage participation and connection within TPMA’s volunteer sub community, helping to foster a sense of belonging and engagement.
