Founded in March 2001, the Toronto Product Management Association (TPMA) is a not-for-profit organization that facilitates learning, mentoring, and networking opportunities for product managers across Greater Toronto Area.

Helping product people in the Greater Toronto Area navigate the complexities of a career in product management and the challenges people experience as they start their product career, advance their product career, become a product leader and grow as a product leader.
The role
As our Editorial Coordinator, you are at the intersection of strategy, execution, and curation. You are responsible for providing the support, management, and guidance needed to achieve our monthly blog publishing goals, which in turn will help the TPMA hit its strategic objectives for content engagement and community growth. In this role you’ll work closely with our Director of Content Strategy, as well as the team of individual editors and contributors who ultimately deliver the pieces. It is a dynamic role that requires just the variety of skills that makes for a strong Product Management professional.

On average 5-8 hours every month
What you’ll do:
- Planning
- Maintain full-scope content planning, tracking editors and authors, and delivery schedules of articles - you are the keeper of the calendar
- Help identify opportunities and risks - from publishing to personnel - so that you and leadership are making informed decisions that drive successful outcomes
- Keep everyone aligned and on track
- Supporting Editors
- If individual editors need support in any way, you can step in to help push things over the line, be it working with people or working with words
- Integration with TPMA strategy
- Work with the Director and individual editors, and liaise with other board members/leadership as needed, to keep blog content effectively sync’d with and optimized alongside TPMA events, efforts, and communications
- Goal & Performance Tracking
- Review metrics and feedback to ensure our content is servicing our larger strategy, and appealing to the audiences being targeted
