She recently completed her MBA and now works at a tech incubator, where she partners with founders on product-market fit and go-to-market strategy. Having lived across five countries, Myra brings a global perspective to her work. She has owned fintech products end-to-end and now helps teams bring structure to complex ideas. Outside of work, she enjoys rock climbing and solving route puzzles while suspended on a harness.
I joined TPMA because of its role in building a collaborative product community in Toronto. Having navigated career transitions across geographies and through my MBA, I’ve seen how powerful mentorship and peer learning can be. Volunteering felt like a natural way to give back while continuing to learn alongside other product professionals.
Volunteering isn’t just about organizing events, it’s about creating spaces where people can genuinely connect. I believe strong product thinking sharpens through shared perspectives. Being on the events team has given me a behind-the-scenes look at the intention behind each event, and it’s rewarding to help bring them to life.
Just do it! I considered volunteering for a year before taking the leap, and I’m so glad I did. Everyone at TPMA has been incredibly welcoming. It’s a great way to meet smart people and gain exposure to different perspectives in the product space.
