As product managers, we’re in the business of disruption. To kick off our fall event season, we’ve invited Jason Dea, SVP of Uberflip and Veronica Pinchin, former Senior Director of Product Management at Wealthsimple to share their first-hand stories of how they’ve taken on multi billion-dollar companies with their product teams and won.

Jason Dea is the Venture Chief Product Officer at Koru, the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan–funded venture studio. Jason helps discover, validate, build, and launch new ventures across OTPP’s portfolio, turning ambiguous ideas into high-conviction bets. A trusted startup advisor & coach, he guides founders from pre-MVP to post-raise with crisp product strategy and go-to-market focus.
Previously, Jason led product at Uberflip (acquired by PathFactory in July 2024), where he scaled an AI-enabled content experience platform, overseeing Product, UX, Product Marketing, Data Science, Services, and Support. Earlier roles at TELUS Health, Honeybee Benefits (acquired by Green Shield Canada), and Intelex sharpened his edge in data-driven product building, predictive analytics, and category storytelling.

Veronica Pinchin is a Product Advisor, Entrepreneur, and fractional Chief Product Officer (CPO) with a passion for building communities and driving innovation towards a healthier, happier, and more connected world.
With over a decade of experience in product leadership, Veronica has held significant roles at companies like Google, Mixpanel, Sidewalk Labs, and Wealthsimple. She holds a software engineering degree and an MBA from Harvard, bringing a strong technical and strategic background to her work. Veronica specializes in guiding seed, Series A, and growth-stage startups, with extensive experience across health tech, ed tech, community (both digital and physical), prop tech, and fintech.
