Founded in March 2001, the Toronto Product Management Association (TPMA) is a not-for-profit organization that facilitates learning, mentoring, and networking opportunities for product managers across Greater Toronto Area.

The role
As our Email Newsletter Editor, you are responsible for curating and collecting content, tracking ideas and submissions, assembling, copy-editing and publishing a regular membership e-newsletter that keeps our community engaged.

Time commitments
On average 5-7 hours a month
What you’ll do:
- Newsletter design and operations
- With some parameters, design a standard template for our Email newsletter that adheres to a consistent set of sections and is engaging to review
- Maintain content planning, tracking authors and owners and delivery schedules of articles and snippets, both text and images
- Integration with TPMA strategy
- Solicit leadership to determine what news and content and opportunities require highlighting
- Review feedback to ensure newsletter is servicing our larger strategy
- Content review and publishing
- Spell and grammar check, iterate with authors on content style as appropriate
- Assemble content and provide draft to TPMA director for review before publishing
- Performance tracking
- Utilize publishing platforms to track open rates and clickthroughs to optimize planning for the best engagement
