About the Event

“The Power of Storytelling in Product Management” is an interactive workshop designed to transform how product professionals communicate. In this immersive session, we’ll first explore a structured storytelling framework and real-world narrative devices used by the best PMs to align teams, influence stakeholders, and drive product adoption. Then we’ll shift into guided exercises where participants apply the framework to high-stakes, realistic scenarios drawn from startup to scale-up settings.

Whether you’re pitching a bold product vision, rolling out a new prioritization model, or rallying your team around a shared metric, this workshop will help you craft messages that stick—and stories that move people.

Learning outcomes:

  1. Master the Storytelling Quadrant Framework: Learn how to tailor your message based on content (abstract vs. concrete) and objective (instruct vs. influence) to maximize clarity and impact.
  2. Apply Narrative Devices to Real Product Challenges: Use storytelling tools like “The Puzzle Piece,” “Raise the Stakes,” and “The Grand Vision” to frame ideas, guide decisions, and inspire action in cross-functional settings.
  3. Practice Strategic Communication Through Scenario-Based Exercises: Develop storytelling muscles by working through hands-on exercises that mirror real-world situations—from onboarding redesigns to executive board pitches.

Target Audience:

This workshop is designed for:

  1. Individual Product Managers (Associate to Senior): Seeking to improve communication with designers, engineers, and stakeholders, especially during planning cycles or roadmap presentations.
  2. Product Leaders (Directors, Heads of Product, VPs): Looking to scale influence across the org, align product strategy with executive vision, and mentor their teams in better communication.
  3. Founders and Early-Stage Builders: Who regularly pitch product visions to investors, partners, and new hires, and need to create alignment with limited time and resources.

Demographics & Interests:

  • Working in B2B SaaS, FinTech, HealthTech, EdTech, or infrastructure tools
  • Experienced in Agile product development
  • Interested in improving stakeholder alignment, customer storytelling, and internal influence
  • Frequently involved in strategy formation, roadmap communication, and team enablement
